Perfect First Bra
My daughter wanted a simple bra that felt comfortable to wear, wasn’t too noticeable under her clothes and was easy to get on and off due to swimming every day at summer camp - we started with sports bras but the straps were too close together and thus showed at shirt collars and the band was too tight. Other moms told me to buy a few and see which we liked best (remember buying baby bottles like this??) I found yellowberry and ordered the Tulip-my daughter is 9 and the Tulip XS/S is a perfect fit.
She loves how easy it is to wear and that it feels like nothing is on. I like that the fabric is designed in a way that is supportive and will grow with her. The fabric is medium-not so thin as to just provide cover or so thick as to be compressive-instead it feels thick enough to be give the level of support a growing girl will need yet feel light as air.
Her uniform at school requires a white button-up top and so we have tried both the white and doe color under her uniform and they blend perfectly. The logo does not show through (the yellowberry logo, as another reviewer said, is in yellow on the back of the bra facing outward and not inside where you are used to seeing tags and brand names) but if I were to change one thing I would move the logo inside the bra.
My daughter is very happy with her bras which makes me happy. If you are searching for “the first one” the Tulip is truly a great match.

We love these and we’re so excited they came back! They are my daughters favorite, I have bought other brands & they sit in her drawer🤣😂 So comfy, not restrictive, not itchy or otherwise not annoying in her words!
