She has resisted wearing any bras to date, but the Willow is comfortable and addresses her self-consciousness about bra straps showing.
Although I love the heft of the fabric my daughter felt this style rode up too much and stretched out and didn’t fit as snugly as the brand I bought from Sears with the annoying padding in it that constantly gets bunched up & lost in the dryer! I am hoping to keep her in yellow berry with a higher stretch fabric in another style.
I don’t have a daughter, but I had been searching for a cute but practical bra for myself, with no padding and no underwire, and this hit the spot. I’m a small, athletic woman, 38 years old. I wore sports bras in my adolescence and for much of my adult life. Traditional bras make me feel distracted by my own sexuality, like if a man wore a codpiece. But sports bras flatten and misshape me, and can be a distraction themselves. I just wanted something natural, whose message is that I am happy with being a woman, and that my breasts are normal— not to be flaunted or flattened but to be supported comfortably and naturally.
I use this bra in gym, after school sports, going for a run, bike or walk, and just when I have a plain old busy day.
