My budding 12 year old has been been wearing Yellowberry for a few years now, and has finally grown into this style. It’s hands down her new favorite! I’ve purchased over a dozen YB bras over the years and had my first quality issue (stitching came undone upon washing). YB support promptly sent out a replacement! Thanks YB for making and standing by a great product! I know we’ll be customers for many years to come.
We bought Yellowberry -Budding Berry bra for my daughter. She loves these bras. They are comfortable, fit well, and wash well. She had tried a variety of brands before we found Yellowberry. These are the only bras she will wear now. Love, love, love them and the confidence they provide our tween.
We ordered five different YB styles and this is the one my daughter most wanted to work. And I did too, truthfully. It's exquisitely soft and comfortable (I was super jealous, tbh) and looks grown-up with the cross-over v-style. According to the size chart my daughter is between XS and S band (26.5 ribs) and should be fully into a size S for cup (29.5). However the band fits her right now and probably not for much longer, and the cups are too big. Okay, so I could exchange for a different size (at my cost, even though I read the chart and did the measuring, which is irritating), but one thing I want to note about this style--it runs very wide across the body such that the material was halfway into her armpits. Maybe for a girls with a larger rib cage measurement compared to the cup (or maybe if the cups are filled-out then the material doesn't go that far around the body?) but for my slim, developing girl this will not work. I saw another review that stated the same so just be aware. *I also want to note that across the board, on all five styles we tried, the fabrics and construction are A++++. Impressively so.
Loved this bra! It's a graduation to more of an adult bra, flattering and comfortable.
Bought the Budding Berry using the sizing guide to order the correct size. It's a little big in the cup. She wore to try it out anyway and it kept riding up, and she pulled and adjusted it almost constantly. Hoping it will do better with a little more growth. She did say it was soft.
